Privacy Policy

Pigeon, last updated 17 October 2026.

Pigeon lets you send, request and split NIM by name inside Nimiq Pay. We keep only what the app needs to work.

What we keep

  • Payment requests and splits you create: the receiving Nimiq address, the amount, the short note you wrote, the names you typed for the people in a split, and the time it was created. This is what lets the link show the right amount and turn into "paid".
  • Your .nim name, if you register one. Names are read from public Nimiq transactions, the same data anyone can see on the network.

What we do not collect

  • No email, phone number, real name or location.
  • No account and no password. Your address comes from Nimiq Pay, and every payment is confirmed by you in your wallet.
  • No ads and no tracking inside the app.
  • Your IP address is used only in memory to slow down abuse. It is not stored, and our server does not keep access logs for Pigeon.

On your device

The app may remember the last people you paid, on your own device only, so they appear at the top of the home screen. Clearing the app's site data removes them.

Public by nature

Every payment is a Nimiq transaction. The sending and receiving address, the amount and the note are public on the Nimiq network, as with any Nimiq payment. Pigeon reminds you of this before you send. Do not put private information in a note.

Analytics on the hosting page

The page around the app (heylogram.com) counts anonymous page views and clicks with PostHog. It cannot see inside the app and does not create a profile of you.

Who sees it

Requests and splits are kept on our own server and shown only to people who have their link. We do not sell or share them.

Keeping and deleting

Requests and splits are kept while the app runs. To have a request or split removed, write to pigeon@heylogram.com with its link. Blockchain transactions cannot be deleted by anyone.

Age

Pigeon is intended for people aged 18 or over.
